From the moment I met Sarah and Aaron I knew that their wedding would be one event that any photographer would love to attend. From the day we met through our pre-wedding meeting, I felt they were both easy going, very open minded, always with a wicked sense of humour. When I arrived at the bride´s villa on the wedding day and I walked into the room where Sarah was getting ready, I knew I wasn´t wrong. Sarah, her mum and the bridesmaids were all having a great time, laughter echoed and everyone looked like they were having fun, not getting ready for a wedding, instead. They were clearly focused on making sure the day would be remembered with satisfaction and amusement.
Sarah and Aaron´s are both emotional and very expressive. Throughout the day I heard a mixture of laughter, crying, singing, screaming…
Our short photo session at the beach was all about true love and fun. 🙂 An important and symbolic moment for both was when they decided to place two plastic yellow ducks (with their names written at the bottom), like two small baby turtles reaching out for the shore, moments after leaving their eggs, on the verge of the breaking surf, allowing the wave to take it away. Fernando was so enthusiastic with this that on the spur of the moment he decided to get into the water to shoot the scene from a different perspective while I made sure I had a landscape view which combined would give an awesome story telling moment.
